I caught an interesting thing online recently. Many web merchants are not going to take the traditional routes to advertise in 2010. According to a recent questionnaire by a Metro Detroit entertainment group, Hot Metro Finds, many merchants have turned their back against standard advertising methods. This includes a whole variety of methods such as Yellow Pages, billboards, television and radio. Add to that list pay per click advertising fees. S.E. Michigan merchants have not expressed an interest in this type of advertising. Some place that viewpoint on the economy. Others have a different take on it. They say that it is just not effective.
In either case, many online merchants have turned their back on these methods. There was another problem with this scenario recently. It seems that many online merchants are taking up with Web 2.0 to give their products some real attention online. Depending on what tools you use it can make a powerful impact on what you are selling. You gain a load of visibility when you use multi user tools such as Facebook and Twitter but that is just the beginning. At current count there are 146,000,000 social media sites. This is creating a substantial difference in the way online merchants sell their products.

Learning before you go out and start assembling the tools will help you keep the right attitude.
First, you will be able to side step grabbing the first tools you see and holding on to them as if they were the Holy Grail of marketing. While there are a lot of great support tools and software on the market today, there is also a lot of junk. Always follow the dictum – take a deep breath, step back for a moment, survey the field, evaluate, before you make a decision.
Remind yourself that you are in an investigative mode. Make note of tools that pique your interest, but don’t leap on them until you have learned more about Internet marketing and how to apply the tools. Then you will be in a better position to evaluate what value, if any, a particular tool has to your marketing model and plan.
Second, do not set yourself up to fail before you even begin. Like the old saying goes, “too many cooks spoil the broth.” Engulfing yourself with a bunch of tools in a random fashion will only serve to confuse you and scatter your attention from your goals.

A joint venture, or abbreviated as JV and sometimes called joint adventure, is a tactical union flanked by two or more parties to embark on a financial activity together. This alliance agrees to create a new entity together by both contributing equity and they then share in the revenues, expenses, and control of the enterprise.
The venture can be for one specific project only, or a continuing business relationship such as the Sony Ericsson joint venture.

Used for communicating directly with consumers, press releases have become effective marketing tools that can be found throughout the Internet on websites, search engine listings or in emails. In the past, press releases have been strictly used to communicate between public relation firms and the media in order to promote their products, celebrities or events. Similarly, businesses are now creating their own press release to promote their services.
When a press release is distributed online, it can gain as many as five hundred additional links. The trick to getting more links and listings is using popular keywords in your press release and in the name of the website where it is originally published. News agencies access press releases by using wire websites and, if you are release is search engine optimized, they could come across yours and print it in their newspaper, magazine or on their website.

My question goes back to the basics as far as article marketing. Should an article keyword list provided to an article submitter be the actual keywords in the article or should they be the list of keywords converting the best on the squeeze page or within a pay-per-click campaign? How many keywords should I post with each article?
Answer: For an article you will need five components which include: the title, summary, content, author bio box, and the keyword list. These are keywords that are not in the article. These are keywords that if somebody was searching for these words and did find your article then your article would be relevant for the keywords they searched. This may sound a little confusing so let me explain using an example.
